This was fun! It took about 20 minutes from start to finish.

I seem to have liked alot of bright colors back when I did all these old pages...gotta change that!

I didn't have a recipe really for coffee, so I used the hot cocoa and biscotti recipes for this section. This will be important for future generations, because my morning time and coffee are very special for me. This is very well known amongst family and friends. When I'm coming they always have coffee ready when I get there. Designer and/or kit name only.): Your kids or grandkids are going to love this hot cocoa! I use it in my coffee or for Christmas I'll cheat and make this up on the woodstove like my grandfather used to for the kids to enjoy. I used to have grandpa's recipe but it burned years ago. I do have another one, but this is just as good and easy to make. It can be stored in an air tight container for a few months. I package it in little canning jars, add a piece of cloth under the ring and tie a ribbon and tag on it to give out for little christmas treats for visitors or to send to family. This goes well with the Biscotti. I've always wondered if the Biscottis ever make it home with people. LOL Credits: Vintage Kitchen November Collab Kit by various designers

After I made my recipe card I used it on this layout then used other cards and the groupies as mats and embellishments. Journaling: At 2 years old Hannah wanted to help Grandma make potato salad on a summer visit. At first she was happy to stir the dressing but she wanted to chop the eggs. Actually what she really wanted was to use a knife! Grandma gave her a rather dull steak knife and Hannah was very careful and serious about chopping the eggs and a few potatoes. Hannah paid close attention to what went into the salad. About a month later when she was talking to Grandma on the phone, Hannah still remembered all the ingredients! Designer and/or kit name only.): Okay, after looking several times at the Bootcamp gallery, I decided my layout needed more brightness :) based on cc...I think I stopped the element kissing, but not sure since I'm not sure what kissing elements are, but guessing it's that they are barely touching? I made the title a little brighter, dropped the wordart and necklace (but it still seems like they would be there to show off the kit better, but I agree that they didn't really fit the theme of butterflies much). I liked vickyZ2's stitching on the layout so much, that I scraplifted it :) I really liked the striped bg a lot, so I worked it in along the left edge, and cut a few strips from the top paper. With just a little blending, I have a great panorama of the Rocky Mountains. PAD She Walks!

Designer and/or kit name only.): My baby girl has been taking a few steps here and there. This past week she has gotten confident enough to take steps out into the middle of the room. She'll take 5 or 6 steps and can stop without falling over. Crawling is still faster, but she's getting there.
